If you want to do your job well, you must first sharpen your tools!

•         Fishing first requires a set of handy equipment. We are fishing for leisure in the wild. Since it is leisure, it must be a relaxed and comfortable state to achieve the purpose of relaxing the body and mind! If the equipment is not handy, fishing for a day will not only not relax, but also be tired, and not catching fish will also hit your confidence!

1. Choice of fishing rod

Beginners should try not to choose a fishing rod that is too long. Within 5.4 meters, 4.5 meters, 3.9 meters, and 3.6 meters are all OK. The reason for choosing a short rod is that you can’t cast the rod when you just learn to fish, so it is easier to master the short rod.

The tone of the fishing rod should not be too hard. If it is too hard, it is easy for novices to fly the line when they raise the rod. If there is a tree behind the fishing position, it is easy to climb the tree! (Recommended 28 tone)

2. Choice of line group

When novices don’t know how to tie the main line, they can buy a finished main line. The line number is not recommended to be too large. The main line is 2.0, 1.5, and 1.2. The sub-line can be matched with 1.5, 1.2, 1.0, 0.8 and below. Remember that the sub-line must not be thicker than the main line!

Novice floaters can buy floats with a slightly larger lead intake of 3 grams to 5 grams. A larger lead intake is convenient for casting and adjusting fishing. The float with a small lead intake requires a higher degree of precision in adjusting fishing, which is not suitable for novices.

3. Choice of fishing box and fishing chair

According to the travel fishing environment, the advantages of wild fishing fishing chairs are greater than fishing boxes. Fishing chairs are better for terrain adaptability. If you choose to fish in the wild and charge black pits, I still recommend choosing fishing boxes. In terms of price, fishing chairs are also more suitable for novices. You can also buy a fishing chair first, and then upgrade a fishing box when your fishing skills are mature. This is what I did.

4. Choice of bracket, scoop net and fish guard

These equipment are necessary and very commonly used. You must choose better quality ones. It doesn’t matter if they are more expensive. You can choose carbon rods for brackets and scoop nets. Don’t choose large fish guards for black pits. You can choose fish guards with smaller diameters and longer diameters to meet the needs of different terrains.

5. Choice of sunscreen and night fishing equipment

Beginners can skip the purchase of fishing umbrellas. Just buy fishing hats, sleeves and face masks. If you want to get everything done in one go, buy a universal fishing umbrella. Try to choose an umbrella with a diameter of 2.4 meters or 2.2 meters. It won’t work if it’s too small!

Night fishing requires a headlamp. Now the induction headlamp is very cheap, so you need to buy one.

6. Other small items

II. Fishing spot selection

Beginners adjust the float to four meshes when the hook is empty in the water, two meshes when the hook is hanging to find the bottom, and two meshes when fishing in level water. There is no need to pursue the fineness of the mesh. The bottom of the wild fishing is uneven, so you can adjust it higher to fish higher. 4. Bait

When the water ratio of pasta bait cannot be grasped at the beginning, use a measuring cup to measure it. Be sure to ensure the state of the bait. If you fish alone, you should open it less and more frequently. Don’t open a lot of bait at one time. The state will be bad after a long time. After the bait is cast, be sure to let the main line enter the water, so that the rod will have water resistance and the line will not fly when it is lifted.
