In the previous article, I mainly introduced the relevant skills of choosing the time, fishing position and bait for sea fishing. In this article, I will continue to share other skills of sea fishing with you.
4. Skills of choosing the weather for fishing: When the sea is covered with fog, you can go home to rest. Sea fishing is busy in sunny weather, and it is not open in foggy weather. Northwest wind is level 3 or 4, which is the best time for sea fishing. The drizzle is pouring, and the fisherman is laughing. It is easy to catch fish when fishing against the wind, and it is three or five miles to fish with the wind. Strong winds and waves make the water temperature drop, and it is difficult to see fish on the hook.
Skill interpretation: The choice of weather is crucial when sea fishing. The weather factors that affect sea fishing are nothing more than temperature, air pressure and sea breeze. Generally speaking, when the weather is clear and the air pressure is high, the water temperature is high, and the fish are very active. Even near the sea, large fish can be caught. On foggy days, hot days, and cloudy days, the air pressure is low, which makes people uncomfortable, not to mention fish. Therefore, when the air pressure is low, the dissolved oxygen in the water is low, and fish will not bite the hook due to lack of oxygen. Wind force and wind direction are also important factors that affect fish biting the hook. Northwest winds of level 3 or 4 are most suitable for fishing, while southeast winds and southwest winds are difficult to catch fish! And the wind force should not exceed level 5. In strong winds and waves, strong winds and waves will further reduce the water temperature and it is extremely dangerous to fish from the shore or boat. Therefore, it is not suitable to go fishing in strong winds and waves. In light rain, the dissolved oxygen content in the seawater increases, and the enthusiasm of fish to eat increases, which is also suitable weather for sea fishing. Fish like to swim upstream, so you should go fishing against the wind. Of course, when fishing with the wind, the speed is fast, so you can also stand at the stern to fish.
5. Tips for choosing fishing gear for sea fishing: Prepare the shore and sea rocks to avoid last-minute preparations. The larger the fish species, the longer the hook, and don’t forget the powerful horse line. You can only get big and small fish if you have to give up the old fishing line. Only when the hook and line are really suitable can you fish more smoothly.
Tips: Sea fishing gear must be prepared in advance. Sea fishing is different from freshwater fishing. Generally, hand rods are not used. Therefore, before fishing, you must prepare rock rods, sea rods and other casting rods, and choose the right size. If you are fishing on the coast, you can choose a shore rock rod with a length of about 5.4 meters and a size of 1.5 to 2. Equip the corresponding hook line group and live bait according to the size of the target fish. Discard the scarred or old hooks and lines to avoid line breakage and fish escape, which will regret it.
6. Relevant skills for target fish in sea fishing: Yellow croaker in clear water, eel in muddy water, sea bream in waves, yellow sand flat fish. Cast the rod to cast Spanish mackerel far, and fish for knife fish at 8 pm. Pull the belly of black fish to turn over, and lift the yellow croaker to the shore.
Skill interpretation: When sea fishing, you must understand the living habits of each target fish and the corresponding skills when fishing. Yellow croaker usually lives in clear water, and the line-lifting fishing method should be adopted when fishing. After the rock line reaches the bottom, the yellow croaker can be hooked by lifting the line. Eel should be fished in muddy water, while sea bream should be fished in wind and waves, and flat fish are often found on the yellow sand beach. When fishing Spanish mackerel, use the fish belly as bait, and cast it on the reef and the sea surface to fish far away. For knife fish, flaky eel segments and yellow croaker segments are often used as bait, and fishing can be done before sunrise until 8 pm. When fishing for snakehead fish at sea, live baits such as sea worms and shrimps are usually used as bait. The snakehead fish can be pulled out from the seaweed and reefs by using the snakehead fish pulling method.
